Triumph of the Willy

John P. Alexander

Tal Laver and his companions arrive at Earth only to find the planet had fallen under the iron rule of his long-lost brother Tal Brahk centuries before. Their only recourse is to jump the Teel starship backward in time to a era before Brahk seized control. The Teel ship suddenly appears in the skies over Europe in the middle of an allied bomber raid during World War II.

Tal Laver and Utra-1027 abandon ship and find themselves greeted by none other than Tal Brahk under the assumed identity of Reinhard Heydrich Oberststurmbanfuhrer of the SS, second only to Heinrich Himmler. Tal Laver recognizes that as Hitler's successor, Brahk will gain absolute power over the world. Brahk recognizes Utra-1027's special abilities and ensconces her in the Salon Kitty, the infamous Berlin bordello where the Nazi brass are simultaneously entertained and spied upon. Meanwhile he tries to persuade Laver to join him in his quest for world domination.

Along with the entire Nazi hierarchy, Laver is introduced to Brahk's right-hand woman, Emma Rheind, a highly persuasive, werewolf baiting, SS assassin who manages Project Ymir, the secret excavation of a crashe alien spacecraft that crashed during the Ice Age. This is of course the same Teel craft that brought Tal Laver and his companions to Earth. Whoever possesses  this ship will eventually rule the world. Against the backdrop of Nazi Era Berlin, it becomes a race across space and time between the rival brothers to discover its secrets.
