Goddess in the Outfield

Bonnassette has managed to ruffle one cock feather too many in her first year as a teacher of Classics at a Quebec university. An effort to dismiss her begins when her in-costume recital of the lost poetry of Sappho and her stage production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" become a bit too risqué for the sensibilities of the Catholic faculty. Bonita's ability to dunk the baseball coach at a campus spring carnivale leads her pitching at the annual grudge match between the faculty men's and women's baseball teams.

Scandal follows her everywhere and she seeks seclusion with a Wicca coven celebrating the summer solstice in the Laurentian Mountains. There she must make a critical life-or-death decision that threatens to reveal her true nature--a truth she has been hiding from the world. With her new life unraveling, she must finally face her past and accept the fate she has been running away from for a VERY long time.
