The Authors

Windstorm works with hundreds of authors and artists. We don't categorize them as "frontlist," "midlist" and "backlist." We use two labels: "active" and "nonactive." A nonactive author is not a bad person--he or she may have written one novel and then gone on to become a neurosurgeon. They simply don't have time for readings or marketing. A nonactive author might be incredibly shy, engaged in military, missionary or activist work, or any other path that might make them unable to work with us to actively and aggressively market their book.

An active author is the exact opposite. An active author carries copies of their book with them everywhere. They probably have a website. They speak, read, and sign their book at libraries, schools, stores and a million other places constantly. They are creative thinkers, innovative and tireless. They are cooperative, intelligent, and informed individuals who work seamlessly with our staff to create successful projects. Active authors read "The News ."

We think our authors are the most talented and passionate authors in the world. We think they have the best ideas and the most drive. All our authors are incredible but the authors listed here are the hardest working team players we've ever met. These authors are the best of the best.
