Role-playing games. Campaigns.

Table top landscape kits.

Reference books and resources for serious gamers and game designers.

Almost two decades in (and out) of the gaming industry.

Learn our history as an innovative marketer of unique games.

Welcome to our rebirth as we rise from our stasis chamber remade and recharged. Founded in 1989 as Rampant Gaming (whose of "old-school" games are now available under the Immortal Day moniker), we're clearly the coolest division of Windstorm because we're the only division that writes its own webcenter copy.

IDP is proud to be home to the rich and intelligent collectable card game "Mardi Gras 3000" by gamer grrl designer E.J. Angel and all her wild ties ins -- novels, blog, forum, and more. We excel at selling outside the box of the standard game industry and pushing our titles straight into the big, bad world. With a bevy of talented, passionate and driven designers -- d20 masters Bryan and Rodney Wilkins, and  role-playing innovator Joseph Gibbons -- we thrive as a company with no backlist and no "filler." It's all meat at IDP.

IDP is hardcore, softcore, cutting-edge and warm-and-fuzzy. Heck, we're everything you ever wanted from a gaming company because we listen to our game designers and respect their excitement for the industry. From immortals waging war for the Holy Grail, to warriors, flesh-crafters, wizards and cyber-punks, if you've got a game then we want to hear from you.

Our distribution isn't limited to the standard gaming industry and our contracts treat your game as truly your own -- we never take the rights to your ideas or characters. No fine print:  we offer a 15% royalty to the designer and 15% to the artist. We prefer games that come complete -- where the author and artist are a team. We have full-time play-testers, hard-working staff and thousands of dollars of crazy machines (die-cutters, button-makers, laminators, plotters, goblin enforcers and a dedicated marketing team of class nine mages) to create promo materials and cool tie ins.

We have the time and the money. We need games. If you're talented and driven, and you don't like giving up your creative power, write to us today. All you need is a Submission Label on the outside of your envelope or package, and a Submission Form attached to your query or game, and you're good to go. Whatever you do, don't forget the Label and Form or the gnomes will be lining their burrow with your submission before we ever get to see it. Click the "Submission Guidelines" link at the top of the left-hand menu or either of the links above.

Please note, we don't publish board games or books about gambling. We don't create miniatures or plastic terrain or other molded items. We will not work with designers who have paid to license themes, topics or a gaming system from another company. (Using any open source system is perfectly fine with us.)

Not a game creator? Just want to play? Check out our title list and stock up on the first generation of our new games. Thanks for visiting.
