Artist Submission Guidelines Our submission details |

At Windstorm, we want to hear an artist's vision and grant freedom of expression whenever we can. Before sending your portfolio, read the general Cover Art Agreement found by clicking Contracts & FAQs. Our royalty scale starts at 5% on total monies received and can, in certain cases, go up to 15% depending upon the division and the project. If you prefer to be paid a flat fee, you must state your standard one-time-use fee in your cover letter. Across all of our divisions, the vast majority of our projects are filled by artists we have "on file." To be an on-file artist at Windstorm, please send download and print the Artist Submission Label and Artist Submission Form found here. If you submission does not have the Artist Submission Label and Artist Submission Form it will not reach the right person at Windstorm and may be discarded or returned. Your portfolio should include at least ten full-color samples of your artwork and at least ten black-and-white samples (if you work in black-and-white). Do not send slides, originals or images on disk. Make sure to include all the contact information you can (phone, email and address). If any of your contact information changes, make sure to write and tell us. Send a self-addressed stamped postcard so we can let you know if your portfolio was accepted and placed on file. Thank you!
